Getting Started with VoiceBI

After installation, VoiceBI walks you through a one-time setup. You'll connect your database, choose your AI engine, and pick a subscription — the whole process usually takes under 10 minutes. Below is what to expect, step by step.

Step 1 — Configuration

The moment you open VoiceBI for the first time, you'll see the Configuration screen. Here is what you will do, in order:

1. Select your industry.
Choose the industry group that best fits your organization — Manufacturing, Healthcare, Education, Retail & E-commerce, Logistics, Technology, Hospitality, and more. Then pick the specific sub-industry from the list. This helps VoiceBI tailor your dashboard to how your business actually works.

2. Choose your database type.
Open the Database Connection dropdown and select the database you use — PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Supabase, MongoDB, or another supported type.

3. Enter your database credentials.
Fill in the connection details for your database: Host, Port, Database Name, Username, Password — or simply paste a connection string if your provider gives you one.

4. Test your database connection.
Click Test Database Connection. If everything is correct, you'll see a green confirmation. If not, double-check the host, port, and password before proceeding. You cannot move on until the database connects successfully.

5. Choose your AI engine.
Open the Configure LLM dropdown and select your preferred AI provider — OpenAI, Grok, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, DeepSeek, etc. Enter your API key for that provider and choose a model from the given options.

6. Test your AI connection.
Click the Test button next to the AI provider you selected. This verifies that VoiceBI can reach your AI engine and that your key is working.

7. Connect and continue.
Once both your database and AI engine show a successful connection, click Connect & Get Started. VoiceBI saves your configuration and moves you to the Subscription screen.

Step 2 — Subscription

VoiceBI offers a 14-day free trial for first-time users, followed by an annual subscription. Here is how to activate yours:

1. Enter your details.
Provide your Email (if you're on mobile, use the same email address registered with the Google Play Store), your Full Name, and your Organization name. These details identify your account and your subscription.

2. Select the Annual Subscription plan.
VoiceBI's subscription is annual. The plan card shows the price and billing cycle — select it to proceed.

3. Start your free trial.
As a first-time user, your 14-day free trial begins automatically. You won't be charged during this period. At the end of the trial, your annual subscription is charged to the payment method associated with your account.

4. Submit.
Click Submit. VoiceBI begins connecting to your database, analyzing its structure, and preparing your workspace.

What happens next ?

First-time setup (up to 5 minutes)

After you submit, VoiceBI:

• Connects to your database

• Reads and analyzes its structure

• Automatically creates your four workspace categories — Sales, Finance, Operations, and your personal My Personalized.

• Generates the default dashboard cards for the first three categories

This process usually completes in under 5 minutes, but may take longer depending on the size of your database and the speed of your internet connection. 

Please don't close the app while this runs — you'll be taken to your dashboard as soon as it's ready.

** VoiceBI supports one active session per account. Signing in on a new device will deactivate the previous session.
